Identification and Use
We currently have two Models of Laptop Docks to be used for HP Probook Laptops and Lenovo (MAPS) Laptops
They look identical and are set up in the same way, however they are to be allocated to specific laptop users
They look like this:
ALOGIC –Universal TWIN HD
These docks are to be used for Lenovo (MAPS) laptops
They do not charge the laptop when docked, the end user is required to connect their Lenovo laptop to the dock AND their power supply
ALOGIC –Universal TWIN HD Pro
These docks are to be used for HP Probook Laptops
They do charge the laptop when docked, the end user is required to connect their HP laptop to the dock only
How to Identify which Dock Colleagues are connected to
Should you need to identify which dock colleagues are connected to please ask them to turn the dock upside down and tell you which of the following they are docked into:
- DUTHD – Twin Dock HD
- These are for Lenovo (MAPS)
- DUTHDPR – Twin Dock HD Pro
- These are for HP Probook
