Microsoft Edge – How to stop tabs timing out

Guide
Open Microsoft Edge Select the three dots in the top right corner of the browser, from the drop down list click Settings.
In the new tab in the settings list click Systems and Performance
Next click into Performance
On the page shown below you will see that some settings are managed by Stepchange however if you scroll down the page you will see you can change the time it takes for all inactive tabs to go to sleep and add web pages to the ‘Never put to sleep’ list.
To make sure changes on Edge take effect full close it down and reopen it.

Q: Why can’t I remove things from the list of never put to sleep?
A: These are locked to ensure that key programs aren’t impacted by edge tabs timing out.
