When you are installing some of the users forticlient if they come back and advise that they are experiencing a boot loop like the following:

 

Please wait screen

Log in screen

Manufacturer screen

Repeat

 

It means the scheduled task hasn’t removed itself. To fix it do the following:

 

Ask the user to unplug the device from mains power

Turn off the device fully

Turn back on (it should then boot normally)

Get them to log in

Quick assist to their machine

Open task scheduler as PDQ user (I can supply credentials if you need just teams me)

Remove the FCT_upgrade task.

 

This will fix the issue
