• Once on, head to your name located in the top right-hand corner, drop this down and select “Settings”: 


 


                                 

 

  • Once clicked, you will then see an “Edit Profile” button located in the top right, click on this. 

 



  • Enter your windows password (also used to log into FortiClient):

  • Then input your 6-digit OKTA code:


Changing your Windows Password

  • After the OKTA code has been correctly input, you will see a “Change Password” field on the right-hand side:

  • Change the password (including all the requirements)

 

(Please note, if you are connected to the VPN whilst doing this: After changing the password you may need to disconnect from FortiClient, reconnect using the new password, once reconnected lock your screen using CTRL+L and enter in the new password to update the credentials – This will ensure the applications that open using your windows credentials are updated)


Resetting your Okta Security Question

  • After the OKTA code has been correctly input, you will need to scroll half-way down the page until you come across the “Forgotten Password Question” and click “Edit” in the top:



 

 

 

 

 

 

 











  • You can then update the information and hit Save once actioned: 

 

 

Once this is actioned, whenever you are locked out you can follow the self-unlock service via Okta by heading to https://stepchange.okta-emea.com (via mobile, tablet or laptop) and follow the instructions after clicking the “Need help signing in?” link below the password field.
