• On your desktop Right click and from the list that appears select Display settings

  • In the Settings window that opens scroll down till the Multiple displays section change the Drop down from change to your working preference.

Duplicate these displays – If you choose to duplicate the displays this will result in anything that shows on the laptop screen will show on the monitor(s) the same.

Extend these displays – If you choose to extend these displays this will give you the functionality of being able to use more than one screen at once.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


  • Once this setting has been amended if you scroll back to the top of the Settings window you should now see screens showing as how you have set them.

If you chose Duplicate these displays you will see the screens showing like this:

Extend these displays ONLY please note:

  • You are able to rearrange the screens by clicking and dragging the screen you want to move. If you are unsure on which screen is 1 and 2 you can press Identify which will show in large on both screens what number that screen is.
