DLR – ‘Client Data Cannot Be Transferred’ Error

Common Causes and Fixes

“/” in Address

Some addresses pulled from postcode lookup may include a forward slash or leave the house name blank.
Fix: Update the address manually in DCS.

Missing Date of Birth (Client or Partner)

DLR requires a date of birth for both the client and their partner (if applicable).
Fix: Add any missing dates of birth in DCS.

'Care Of' Address Present

A selected 'Care Of' address can block data from transferring.
Fix:

  • Deselect the 'Care Of' address in DCS
  • Run the client through DLR
  • Re-add the 'Care Of' address after
