Need an app for work? The Company Portal is your go-to in-work app store, giving you quick access to software approved by IT. Open the portal, browse what’s available, and install what you need. It’s the fastest way to get the tools that help you get things done.

Guide

You can access company portal by typing its name into your start menu or the search box on your task bar. (see image below). Simply double click the app to open it.

 

To install an application click on apps from the menu on the left hand side or search for it in the box at the top of the window.

 

  

From the list click on the app you wish to instal.

 

 Next click on the install button and you’re all done. You can check the progress of your install by clicking on downloads & updates from the left-hand menu ( this section also gives you a list of your installed applications)

 

Best practice tip: To speed up the process of your applications being installed sync the device, this also ensures that it has the latest updates.

To do this click on settings (shown in image below) and click the sync button.

FAQ’S

Q: I can’t find the app I need on company Portal what should I do?

A: If it’s a software that already has Stepchange approval you should be able to request this by raising a service request. If the software isn’t approved raise a change request to see if this can be made available.
