Issue summary

This issue can present in many ways, Common examples are:

  • The system becoming unresponsive
  • The system running slow
  • Certain screens not loading

Current Workaround

Please raise a fresh ticket even if the below troubleshooting methods fix this. Please advise what you have tried and if it worked. 

Perform standard troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart the DMS application
    • Fully close DMS (use Task Manager to ensure it is not running in the background).
    • Reopen the application and test again.
  2. Restart the laptop
    • A full restart clears cached processes and refreshes the system.
  3. Reinstall the DMS application
    • Uninstall DMS from the laptop.
    • Open Company Portal → search for DMS → reinstall the application from there. 
    • Launch DMS again and retest.

Permanent Solution / Accepted Workaround

At present, there is no permanent fix for general DMS errors because they arise from a variety of causes such as caching, memory faults, or temporary server communication issues.

The accepted workaround is to complete the standard troubleshooting steps listed above.
