Affected System: PDD, DCS’s PDD
Issue summary
It presents as the PDD system not loading/an error message occurring when trying to load.
This results in users being unable to amend or set up Direct Debits.
It is caused by certain Web Series reports/jobs causing the DDE Broker to stop working correctly. This is usually down to the Web Series report/job taking up all resources on the server.
Current Workaround
Please raise a fresh ticket so this can be correlated with the service desk morning checks and passed to application support if related.
Permanent Solution / Accepted Workaround
This error rarely occurs will be picked up by the Service Desk Team Member who is working the morning checks that day and raised with the Application Support Team. Example email below.
Users will have to wait for the Web Series job. Report to complete then they will be able to use the system as normal. Updates will be sent out to users by the appropriate team.
