Issue summary
This issue appears when a client attempts to log in online, they are unable to access there account and advisors cannot amend or add an email address to their account via Pulse.
The root cause is unknown but the issue occurs when a client creates an account, there email address doesn’t register and there is no functionality to add or amend this later. See example below:
Current Workaround
Please raise a ticket which will be managed by the Application support team who will follow the workaround steps.
Permanent Solution / Accepted Workaround
This issue is still being investigated, until then please follow the work around above.
Currently it’s been found that:
- Email addresses will not appear on the screen (shown in screen shot above) if the client has chosen the preferred post option
- The error can also appear when the client has no email address, but one shows as registered.
