Issue summary

When a breathing space application is submitted via pulse 2 applications with different reference numbers are created instead of one. These appear with either the same start date or up to 2 days difference.

Current Workaround

Raise a fresh ticket which will be assigned to the application support team.

Reach out to the breathing space team via email.

Permanent Solution / Accepted Workaround

The root cause has been identified:

When a request to INSS fails because the BS Reference and INSS reference number are missing, and the case is resubmitted, the system creates a new BS number and reference for the client instead of reusing the original ones.

As this is a manual process cause the issue not the system the problem record has been closed.
